Wearing a picture–perfect
Mask of Humanism,
playing the eternal victim of Crucifixion,
posturing as the exclusive Instrument of God,
and as the ultimate fount of Love & Kindness,
the Church –
week after week,
month after month;
year after year;
century after century –
would subtly inject
a very carefully calibrated venom –
re–packaged as alleged–history and theology.
Injecting this almost–invisible sugar–coated but lethal poison–capsule
into its trusting flock
on a weekly basis in Church
