We Remember: A Reflection on the Shoah
Mar 16: Published under authority of Pope John Paul II; presented by Cardinal Edward Idris Cassidy.
Incremental Vatican texturing of the Shoah with a more sympatico–to–the–Jews slant. Not insignificant.
Note: On June 7, 1979, at an international commemoration ceremony at Auschwitz, with the Carmelite Nun’s 26’ Auschwitz Cross gambit as backdrop, the same Pope John Paul II had positioned the Holocaust/Six Million as a Polish martyrdom: “Six million Poles lost their lives during the Second World War – a fifth of the Polish nation.” This gambit was to be repeated on May 29, 2006, same quote, same place, by his successor Pope Benedict. One has to presume that the Vatican Secretariat is orchestrating a long–term Holocaust/Six Million/Auschwitz iconography hijack-gambit. This is a diabolical gambit with quite–terrible implications. It dwarfs the ‘Holocaust denial’ gambit (not a Vatican gambit), which receives massive international attention.
