The Jewish “historical interest” in the notorious Catholic Church “sexual abuse scandal” would revolve around two axes:
1) Does the comportment of the hierarchy (the Vatican and the Cardinals and the Bishops) who, it would seem, looked aside for decade—if not for centuries—parallel the comportment of the hierarchy towards the Jews over the centuries?
2) Did the rage–filled Catholic schooled victims, numbering perhaps in the tens of thousands over the centuries, take out their rage on the vulnerable local Jews?
