2006 CE: POLITICAL ANTI–SEMITISM

Anti–Semitism continues to infect.

On many college campuses, pro–Palestinian and/or Radical Left groups have morphed anti–Israel stances into a hate–infected, coarse and virulent anti–Zionism.

Apr 3: The U.S. Commission on Civil Rights published its finding that incidents of anti–Semitism were a “serious problem” on college campuses throughout the United States. The commission recommended that the U.S. Departments of Education’s Office for Civil Rights protect [Jewish] college students from anti–Semitism through vigorous enforcement of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, and further recommended that Congress clarify that Title VI applies, as well, to discrimination against Jewish students.

[Author’s note: On many US college campuses, Jewish student meetings and organizations still find themselves the objects of quite–severe toxicity.]
